Preamble
The MaDiSt APP collects some Personal Data from its Users. This Privacy Policy regulates and
carefully specifies how the processing of user data takes place.
Definitions
Personal Data (or Data) - any information that directly, indirectly, or in connection with other
information including a personal identification number relates to an identified or
identifiable natural person (‘data subject’).
Data Subject - the natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.
User - the individual that interacts, accesses and uses this APP who, unless otherwise
specified, coincides with the Data Subject.
APP - the MaDiSt app, which can be freely downloaded on iOS and Android devices through
their respective distribution platforms, such as the App Store and Google Play.
Usage Data the batch of information collected automatically through the use of this APP
generated by the interaction of the user with MaDiSt. Usage Data can include: the IP
addresses or domain names of the mobile phones utilized by the Users who use this APP,
the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time of the request, the method utilized
to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical
code indicating the status of the server's answer (successful outcome, error, etc.), the
country of origin, the operating system utilized by the User, the various time details per visit
(e.g., the time spent on each page within the Application) and the details about the path
followed within the Application and other parameters about the device operating system
and/or the User's IT environment.
Data Controller (or Owner or Us) - the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or
other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the
processing of Personal Data, including the security measures concerning the operation and
use of this APP. The Data Controller, unless otherwise specified, is the Owner of this APP.
MaDiSt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Owner" or “MaDiSt”) is the data controller. Contact

Data Processor (or Data Supervisor) - the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or
other body which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller, as described in
MaDiSt’s privacy policy.
This APP - the means by which the Personal Data of the User is collected and processed.
Service - the service provided by this APP as described in the relative terms (if available) and
on this APP.
Cookies - Small text files stored on the User’s device by this APP. They hold data specific to
the User and their interactions, which can later be retrieved by the server or the Client device.
European Union (or EU) - Unless otherwise specified, all references made within this
document to the European Union include all current member states to the European Union
and the European Economic Area.

What personal information we process?
When you visit, use, or navigate our Services, we may process personal information depending on
how you interact with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you
use.
Do we process any sensitive personal information?
Some of the information are considered special” or sensitive” amid the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR,
for example your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs. We do not
process sensitive personal information.
Do we collect any information from third parties?
MaDiSt collects some information mainly Usage Data & Users Personal Data from third parties.

How do we process your information?
We process your information in order to provide, improve and administer our Services more
efficiently, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with laws and
regulations. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
In what situations and with which parties do we share personal information?
We may share information in specific situations and with specific third parties. Learn more about
when and with whom we share your personal information below.
What are your rights and how do you exercise them?
You may exercise certain rights in regard with your Data processed by Us; particularly, you can
withdraw your consent at any time. You can object to processing of your Data and have your Personal
Data deleted or removed. You can also request to receive your Data and have it transferred to another
Controller. You keep the right, at any time, to access your Data, to verify it and seek rectification. The

1. Information MaDiSt collects
MaDiSt collects data through personal information in three different ways.
a) Personal information you disclose to Us We collect personal information that Users
voluntarily provide to Us when they register on the MaDiSt APP to play our games; this also happens
when Users or potential Users express an interest in obtaining information about MaDiSt and its
Services, when they participate in activities on the APP or otherwise when Users contact Us.
The personal information that MaDiSt collects depends on the context of Users’ interactions with Us
and our Services, the choices Users make and the products and/or features they use. Among the
types of Personal Data that this APP collects there are:
First names & last names;
Gender;
Date of birth;
Address & Country of residence;
Nationality;
Zip/Postal code;
Email addresses;
Teamname & User ID;
Sensitive information: MaDiSt does not collect or process any sensitive information.
Payment Data: If Users choose to make any purchase, MaDiSt through specific third parties - may
collect data necessary to process the payment, such as their payment instrument number, and the
security code associated with their payment instrument. All payment data is handled and stored by
the following third parties:

Google Pay (Google, Inc.) -
Application Data: When Users use the APP, MaDiSt collects the following information if Users
choose to provide Us with access or permission:
Mobile Device Data: MaDiSt automatically collects device information (such as your mobile
device ID, model and manufacturer), operating sysyem, version information and system
configuration information, device and application identification numbers, hardware model
internet service provider and/or mobile carrier and Internet Protocol (IP) address. When
using the APP, MaDiSt may also collects information about the phone network associated
with our Users mobile device, the mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of
mobile device Users usde, the mobile device’s unique device ID, and information about the
features of the APP the User accessed.
Push Notifications: MaDiSt may request to send Users push notifications regarding their
accounts or certain features of the APP, such as games deadlines or updates (including
tournaments and leagues). If Users wish to opt out from receiving these types of
communications, they may turn them off in their device’s settings.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our APP, for
troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
All the information that Users provide to Us must be true, complete, and accurate. Users must notify
Us of any changes to such personal information.
b) Information automatically collected MaDiSt automatically collect certain information when
Users visit and use our APP. This information does not reveal the Users’ specific identity (such as
names of contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP
address, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device
name, information about how and when Users use our APP, and other technical information. This
information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our APP, and for our
internal analytics and reporting purposes.
Like many businesses, MaDiSt also collects information through cookies and similar technologies.
The information collected this way includes:
Log and Usage Data: Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and
performance information our APP automatically collect when Users access or use our
Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with Us, this log
data may include your IP address, device information, and setting and information about
your activity in the APP (such as the date/time stamps associated with the usage, pages and
files, viewed, and other actions you take such as which features used), device event
information (such as system activity, error reports also called crash dumps” and
hardware settings).
Device Data: MaDiSt collects device data such as information about Users’ phone, tablet, or
any other device Users may use to access our Services. Depending on the device used, this
device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and
application identification numbers, location, hardware model, internet service provider
and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.
Location Data: MaDiSt may collect location data such as information about the User’s device
location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information is collected
depends on the type and settings of the device used to access our APP. For example, MaDiSt
may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells Us the User’s
current location (based on their IP address). Users can opt out of allowing MaDiSt to collect
this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling your Location
setting on their device. Keep in mind, that if a User chooses to opt out, they may not be able
to use certain aspects of the APP fully.
Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this APP is mandatory and failure to provide this
Data may make it impossible for MaDiSt to provide its Services. In cases where this APP specifically
states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without
consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Services. Users who are uncertain about
which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact Us.
2. Purposes of processing
MaDiSt processes Users’ personal information for a variety of reason, depending on how Users
interact with our Services, as explained below.
Registration & authentication: MaDiSt processes Users information so they can create and log
in to their accounts, as well as keep their accounts in working order.
Service delivering: MaDiSt processes Users’ information to provide them with its Services.
Support offering: MaDiSt may processes Users’ information to respond to their inquiries and
solve any potential issues they might experience within the use of the APP.
Administrative purposes: MaDiSt may process Users’ information to send them details about
MaDiSt’s products and services, changes to MaDiSt terms and policies, and other similar
information.
Requesting feedback: MaDiSt may process Users’ information when necessary to request
feedback and to contact them about their usage of MaDiSts Services.
Marketing & promotional communications: MaDiSt may process the personal information
Users send for MaDiSts marketing preferences. Users can opt out of MaDiSts marketing
emails at any time.
Target advertising delivering: MaDiSt may process Users’ information to develop and display
personalised content and advertising tailored to their interests, location, and more.
Service protecting: MaDiSt may process Users’ information as part of its efforts to keep the
Service safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
Usage trends identifying: MaDiSt may process information about how Users use the Services
to better understand how they are being used in order to improve them.
Effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns determination: MaDiSt may process
Users’ information to better understand how to provide marketing and promotional
campaigns that are most relevant to them.
3. Methods of processing
MaDiSt aims to protect Users’ personal information through a system of organisational and
technical security measures.
MaDiSt has implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security
measures designed to protect the security of any processed personal information and in order to
prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
MaDiSt carries out Data processing using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following said
organisational procedures and modes strictly related to the indicated purposes. In addition to
MaDiSt, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved
with the operation of this APP (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or
external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT
companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by MaDiSt. Users
can request the updated list of these parties from Us at any given time.
4. Legal basis of processing
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR requires Data Controllers to always hold
a valid legal basis in order to process any personal information. MaDiSt only processes Users’
personal information when it is necessary and when MaDiSt have a valid legal reason to do so under
applicable law.
MaDiSt may process Users’ personal information under the following legal basis:
Consent: MaDiSt may process Users’ personal information if they have given specific
permission (i.e. consent) to use their personal information for a specific purpose. Users can
withdraw their consent at any given time.
Performance of a contract: MaDiSt may process Users’ personal information when it is
necessary to fulfill any contractual obligation between the parties, including providing
MaDiSt’s Services or customer support, or at the Users request prior to entering into the
contract (precontractual steps).
Legitimate Interest: MaDiSt may processes Users’ personal information if it is reasonably
necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests and those interests do not outweigh
Users’ interests and fundamental rights and freedoms. This includes: a) send Users
information about special offers and discounts on MaDiSt products and services; b) develop
and display personalised and relevant advertising content for Users; c) analyse how the
Service is used so MaDiSt can improve it to engage and retain Users; d) support MaDiSt’s
marketing activities; e) diagnose problems and/or prevent fraudolent activities; f)
understand how Users engage with MaDiSt products and services so the User Experience
can be improved.
Legal Obligations: MaDiSt may process Users information when it is deemed as necessary for
compliance with any legal obligation, such as to cooperate with a law enforcement body or
regulatory agency, exercise or defend our legal rights, or disclose Users’ information as
evidence in litigation in which MaDiSt is involved.
MaDiSt will gladly help to further clarify the specific legal basis that applies to a processing.
5. Data retention time
MaDiSt keeps Users’ information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this
Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
No purpose in this policy will require MaDiSt to keep Users’ personal information for longer than
sixty (60) months past the termination of the business relationship, in accordance with legal and
regulatory requirements. Data and documents older than 3 years will be archived. When MaDiSt
have no ongoing legitimate business need to process a Users personal information, it will either
delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because said personal
information has been stored in backup archives), then MaDiSt will securely store the User’s personal
information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. Moreover, a User
that closed their account always retains the right to contact support and request said account be
anonymised and personal details removed, subject to retention requirements.
However, personal data related to financial transactions or due diligence will be retained for a
minimum of 5 years after the end of the business relationship or the last transaction and may be
retained for an additional period if required by law or competent authorities. No retention
guarantee is provided for insignificant data such as unplayed lineups, unless such data is linked to
financial transactions or regulatory compliance, in which case it will be retained for at least 5 years.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
MaDiSt does not rely on Cookies while Users interact with the APP; on the contrary, MaDiSt may use
cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store Users’ information to gather
information when Users interact with the SITE. Some online tracking technologies help MaDiSt
maintain the security of our Services and Users’ accounts, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save Users’
preferences, and assist with basic APP functions. In these instances, every Data collected is
previously anonymized.
MaDiSt permits third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on its Service
for analytics and advertising, including to help manage and display advertisements, to tailor
advertisements to Users’ interest. The third parties and service providers use their technology to
provide advertising about products and services tailored to Users’ interests which may appear on
MaDiSt Services. Any use of Cookies or of other tracking tools by MaDiSt or by the owners of
third-party services used by the MaDiSt SITE serves the purpose of providing the Service required
by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie
Policy, if available. Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data obtained, published or
shared through this APP and this SITE and confirm that they have the third party's consent to provide
the Data to MaDiSt.

7. Details on data processing
MaDiSt processes Users personal information for the following purposes and by relying on the following services.
a) Analytics The services contained in this section enable MaDiSt to monitor and analyze web
traffic and can be used to keep track of Users’ behavior in an anonymised way. Personal Data
collected: Usage Data.
Google Analytics (Google Inc.) - Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google
Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this APP, to
prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use
the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

b) User contacting Users can autonomously contact MaDiSt customer support using the contact
form on this APP. When the contact form is used, an e-mail is automatically sent to
info@madist.co.uk containing the relevant inquiry. Personal Data collected: first name, last name,
date of birth, email address, User ID and Teamname.
MaDiSt Contact Form By using the contact form, Users consent to the processing of their
Data by MaDiSt, which uses them for the purpose of responding to requests for support,
information or to meet any further needs the user may have.
c) Mailing list or newsletter Users can register to the mailing list service or for the newsletter in
order to receive email messages pertaining information of commercial or promotional nature
concerning MaDiSt, its APP and any type of game related to it. As a result of this, the Users email
address will be added to the contact list of those who may receive the aforementioned emails. User’s
email address might also be added to this list as a result of signing up to this APP or after making a
purchase. Personal Data collected: email address, first name and last name.
MaDiSt mailing list or newsletter MaDiSt keeps track of the Users subscription to the mailing
list and the newsletter services; Users can opt out of these services at any time.
SendGrid Mailing List or Newsletter (Twilio Inc.) SendGrid handles the mailing list and the
newsletter services for MaDiSt. For more information on the privacy practices of Twilio,

d) Payments handling Payment processing services enable MaDiSt to process payments by credit
card through the pre-authorisation mechanism as described in MaDiSt General Terms & Conditions
(Section 9 Payments & In App Purchases). To ensure greater security, this APP shares only the
information necessary to execute the transaction with the financial intermediaries handling the
transaction. Personal Data collected: various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the
service.
Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) Stripe is the payment service provided by Stripe Inc. and is the sole
payment processing service accepted by MaDiSt (outside of In-APP Purchases). For more

Apple Store (Apple, Inc.) For in-app purchases only, MaDiSt uses the payment service
provided by Apple Store. For more information on the privacy practices of Apple Store, please

Google Pay (Google, Inc.) For in-app purchases only, MaDiSt uses the payment service
provided by Google Pay. For more information on the privacy practices of Google, please visit
the related privacy policy page.
e) Backend infrastructure and hosting Through this service, which holds the purpose of hosting
Data and files, the MaDiSt APP is enabled to run fluently and be distributed; it also provide a ready-
made infrastructure to run specific features or part of this APP. Personal Data collected: various
types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of each service.
Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Inc.) Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform provided by
Microsoft Inc. and it serves as a Data Centre.
Web App Service (Microsoft Inc.) The Azure App Service is a service for hosting web
applications.
API management Service (Microsoft Inc.) API management Service offers a scalable, multi-
cloud API management platform for API protection, publishing and analysis.
Redis Cache Service (Microsoft Inc.) Redis Cache Service offers a Data Storage service.
MongoDb (This App) MongoDB is a database produced and provided by MongoDB Inc. but
entirely administered by MaDiSt.
Blob Storage (Microsoft Inc.) Blob Storage is a Data storage service provided by Microsoft Inc.
f) Managing contacts and sending messages This type of service makes it possible to manage a
database of email contacts, or any other contact information to communicate with the User. These
services may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by the
User, as well as when the User interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message.
Personal Data collected: email addresses, first name and last name, date of birth and various types
of Data as specificied in the privacy policy of the services.
MaDiSt Push notifications MaDiSt APP will send out push notification on mobile phones to
those Users who specifically requested them or to eligible Users, such as Players who wish
to participate in Premium Games. Please refer to MaDiSt Terms & Conditions (Sections 3, 4
and 8). Users can always opt out of this service by deactivating it directly from the APP or by
choosing so on their phone settings.
Veriff (Veriff OÜ) Veriff is a KYC service (Know Your Customer) provided by Veriff and is the
know-you-customer service implemented in the MaDiSt APP to correctly and safely verify that
identification documents sent by Users are valid. This service is used to ensure that players who
want to access strictly adult content (Premium Games) are of legal age. For more information on

SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) SendGrid handles the Users contacts for MaDiSt and is used to send
messages related to MaDiSt and its APP. For more information on the privacy practices of

g) Platform services and hosting These services have the purpose of hosting and running key
components of the MaDiSt SITE, therefore allowing the provision of the SITE from within a unified
platform. Such platforms provide a wide range of tools to MaDiSt that imply the collection and
handling of Personal Data. Personal Data collected: various types of Data as specified in the privacy
policy of the service.
WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.) WordPress.com is a platform provided by Automattic Inc.
and managed by Hostinger (Hostinger, UAB) that allows MaDiSt to build, run and host the

h) Registration and authentication By registering or authenticating, Users allow this APP to
identify them and give them access to dedicated services. Depending on what is described below,
third parties may provide registration and authentication services. In this case, this APP will be able
to access some Data, stored by these third-party services, for registration or identification purposes.
Personal Data collected: various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.
Google Firebase Authentication (Google Inc.) Google Firebase is a registration and
authentication service provided by Google Inc. and is connected to the Google network. For

Veriff (Veriff OÜ) Veriff is a KYC service (Know Your Customer) provided by Veriff and is the
know-you-customer service implemented in the MaDiSt APP to correctly and safely verify that
identification documents sent by Users are valid. This service is used to ensure that players who
want to access strictly adult content (Premium Games) are of legal age. For more information on

8. Users’ rights
Based on the founding principles of the GDPR (as well as the UK GDPR) Users are always guaranteed
the right to exercise a range of rights regarding their Data processed by MaDiSt as set out below.
a) In particular, Users have the right to do the following:
Right to withdraw consent (Recital 42 and Article 7 UK GDPR) - If Personal Data is
processed based on the Users’ consent, they have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
Right to object (Article 21 UK GDPR) - Users have the right to object to the processing of
their Personal Data, particularly in relation to direct marketing and processing based on
legitimate interests or public tasks.
Right of access (Article 15 UK GDPR) - Users have the right to request access to their
Personal Data and information about how it is being processed.
Right to rectification (Article 16 UK GDPR) - Users have the right to request the correction
of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data held about them.
Right to restrict processing (Article 18 UK GDPR) - Under certain conditions, Users can
request the restriction of processing of their Personal Data.
Right to erasure (Right to be forgotten Article 17 UK GDPR) - In certain circumstances,
Users can request the deletion of their Personal Data.
Right to data portability (Article 20 UK GDPR) - Users can request their Personal Data in
a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transfer it to another Data
Controller. This provision is applicable provided that the Data is processed by automated
means and that the processing is based on the User's consent, on a contract which the User
is part of or on pre-contractual obligations thereof.
Right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) (Article
77 UK GDPR) Although MaDiSt recommends Users to first seek support through our proper
channels in order to solve any issue that might arise, if Users believe their rights have been
violated, they can lodge a complaint with the UK’s Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
b) Details about the right to object to processing:
Where Personal Data is processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested
in MaDiSt or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by MaDiSt itself, Users may object
to such processing by providing a ground related to their particular situation to justify the objection.
Users must know that, however, should their Personal Data be processed for direct marketing
purposes, they can object to that processing at any time without providing any justification
whatsoever. To learn whether MaDiSt is processing Personal Data for direct marketing purposes,
Users may refer to Sections 2,4 and 7 of this document.
c) Details on how to exercise these rights:
Any requests to exercise User rights can be directed to MaDiSt through the contact details provided
in this document. These requests can be exercised free of charge and will be addressed by MaDiSt
as early as possible and always within thirty (30) days.
MaDiSt ensures that Users can effectively exercise their rights, as detailed below:
Contacting Data Controller - For inquiries or requests related to User rights or MaDiSt
Privacy Policy, customer support is available to assist and ensure the protection of privacy
rights.
Accessing Personal Data - Users can request access to the Personal Data MaDiSt holds
about them. MaDiSt will provide this information in accordance with the timelines set by data
protection laws.
Rectifying or Updating Information - Should Users find any Personal Data MaDiSt holds
to be inaccurate or incomplete, they can ask for corrections or updates. MaDiSt will promptly
address these requests.
Data Portability - Users are entitled to a copy of their Personal Data in a commonly used
and machine-readable format. Upon request, MaDiSt will deliver this Data within the
requested time frames.
Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) - Users wishing to have their Personal Data removed from
our systems can initiate this process, in compliance with MaDiSt legal obligations.
Lodging a Complaint - In the event of a perceived violation of privacy rights, Users have the
right to file a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority or regulatory body.
While MaDiSt encourages to be contacted directly to resolve any issues, Users may also
choose to escalate the matter externally.
9. Cookie Policy
This APP does not rely on Cookies, however it relies on Google Analytics for anonymised tracking
Data from which the original User cannot be traced for the purpose of tracking the habits and
behaviour of Users for strictly internal marketing and advertising purposes. On the other hand, the
MaDiSt SITE relies on Cookies, therefore to learn more and for a detailed cookie notice, the User
may consult the MaDiSt Cookie Policy.
10. Additional information about Data Processing Legal action
The User's Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by MaDiSt in Court or in the stages leading
to possible legal action arising from improper use of this APP or the related Services. The User
declares to be aware that MaDiSt may be required to reveal personal Data upon request of public
authorities.
11. Additional information about Users’ Personal Data
In addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, this APP may provide the User with
