MADIST Rules – InstaLeague
Welcome to MADIST InstaLeague, the rst game on the MADIST platform.
All MADIST games are based on a proprietary algorithm, developed by MADIST, using oicial
statistics provided by StatsPerform.
The algorithm assigns each football player an objective score based on their real on-eld
performance. This score is the foundation of the game system.
How does InstaLeague work?
1. Match selection: At least one week before it starts, a new InstaLeague will be
published, based on a previously played match of the Premier League, in UK.
2. Key moment selection: For each match, 6 specic moments will be chosen. Each
moment corresponds to a specic minute of the chosen match.
3. Player score calculation:
A player’s score at each moment is calculated as follows:
MOMENT Score = 100 × [(Current score - Previous minute score) + (Next minute score -
Current score)] / 2
This formula measures how the player’s performance changes at that specic
moment.
4. User selections: For each of the 6 moments, you will need to select:
o The player you believe had the highest score
o The player with the lowest score
5. User score: Your nal score will be the sum of the points earned in each round,
according to the following rules:
o HighPoints = score of the player selected as the “best”
o LowPoints = score of the player selected as the “worst”
o If HighPoints < LowPoints: -750 points
o If a player didn’t play (score = 0): -250 points each
o If both players played and the selection order is correct:
Round Score = |HighPoints| + |LowPoints|
o Extra bonuses:
▪ +100 points if HighPoints > 100
▪ +100 points if LowPoints < 0
▪ +500 points if HighPoints is the highest of all players at that moment
▪ +500 points if LowPoints is the lowest of all players at that moment
6. Ranking and winners:
The total score over the 6 rounds determines the nal ranking.
The rst-place user wins the prize. Some tournaments may also reward second and
third place.
